Drug Addiction Treatment

.

Drug addiction is a long-term, complex medical condition that can affect both physical and emotional health. Individuals struggling with addiction to prescription medications or illicit drugs often feel unable to control their substance use. They may experience strong cravings or withdrawal symptoms when they stop using. Many people have attempted to quit on their own, sometimes multiple times, but find maintaining recovery difficult.

Our drug addiction treatment program at Brentwood Behavioral Health includes medically supervised care to help patients safely manage withdrawal from substances. While medication alone is not a cure for addiction, it can help reduce discomfort and support safety during the withdrawal process. We also offer personalized inpatient and outpatient treatment options that incorporate a variety of therapeutic services.

We provide detox and treatment services for individuals struggling with addiction to opioids and opiates (including heroin, Percocet, oxycodone, and fentanyl), benzodiazepines (including Xanax and Ativan), and stimulant medications (including Adderall and Ritalin).

Compassionate Support for Drug Addiction Recovery

Inpatient Treatment

At Brentwood Behavioral Health, we focus on treating the whole person, addressing both physical and mental health needs. Depending on the substances being used and the severity of the addiction, inpatient treatment may be recommended. Treatment often begins with detox to help remove drugs from the body in a safe and supervised environment. Medications may be used when appropriate to help ease withdrawal symptoms and support stabilization.

Medication can be an important part of recovery, but it is only one component of treatment. During your stay, you will participate in a range of therapeutic services designed to support long-term healing. Your care team may include a psychiatrist, nurse, patient care assistant, activity therapist, and other specialized healthcare professionals. Together, they will create an individualized treatment plan that may include behavioral therapies, recreational activities, and other recovery-focused services. Patients can also enjoy our welcoming campus and therapeutic activities throughout their treatment experience.

Outpatient Treatment

Some patients transition to outpatient care after completing an inpatient program, while others may begin their recovery journey in an outpatient setting.

We offer two outpatient treatment options. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) typically provides structured treatment for up to six hours each day, five to seven days per week, while allowing patients to return home between sessions. We also offer an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which generally includes three hours of therapy per day, three to five days each week.
